I plan to buy some new batteries soonish. I wonder which brand is the best for 18650 in your opinion is?

I use the stacked 18350 batteries and they do not last long at all and lose performance very quickly. Will the 18650 have better performance?

Bro, just my personal experience. If you are using regulated mods, go for the best, e.g. Sony VTC5, LG HE2, Panasonic, Samsung. Those using RDA (dripper) with mechanical mods can follow the same. But those using mechanical mods with cartomiser/clearomiser (Kanger AeroTank, ProTank, Aspire Nautilus, etc.), any normal 3.7V lithium will do the job. Reason being, freshly charged batteries will give out higher output and may burn the coils. RBA user such as Kayfun, Taifun, etc., must know their coil resistance.

    :);)

apparently for me Sony VTC5 is quite hard to find... around my home. Though I already marked LeGadgets, their new branch in damansara. Planning to buy from em soon. Either VTC5 or Efest.

nothing beats AW, genuine of course. but VTC5 is not bad at all.

i wouldn't put my trust on others.

To me, most important spec for batteries is LOWEST VOLTAGE DROP under load, which means the battery have very low internal resistance(IR).
Which also means high current discharge with low heat produced.

AW1600 used to be the champion last time, but currently it's VTC4/VTC5.
Heard the Samsung 25R is a good contender too.

For comparisons, just check here Battery test-review 18650 comparator
